SAQ-B2B.com is a private, business-to-business, transactional portal owned and operated by the SAQ's E-commerce Division. The SAQ is the only buyer on the portal (only approved SAQ products are traded there) and any SAQ supplier with a product registered on the SAQ database, or accepted for registration, is eligible to become a member and trade on the portal. There are no membership fees.

SAQ-B2B.com enables SAQ suppliers to do business with the SAQ online, saving time, effort and money. Transactions related to purchasing, shipping and receiving all take place online. There are no product list or per-transaction fees to pay.

The only equipment required is a computer and Internet access. If a supplier does not have access to Internet, but his agent does, the supplier can share his authorized access to the portal (user name and password) with his agent.

The technology behind SAQ-B2B.com was developed in collaboration with agencies, producers and distillers, and is the most state-of-the-art technology in the world for the wine and spirits industry. The portal respects the highest industry standards for security, boasting data encryption, back-up support systems and firewalls.

The SAQ also gives its suppliers the option of choosing to do business on an even more sophisticated, public, business-to-business portal, Global Wine & Spirits, which provides access to an international pool of wine and spirits buyers. This portal is fully integrated into the SAQ's internal management systems and offers a greater number of easy-to-use functions such as call for tenders, logistics management, document sharing with agencies and freight forwarders, and shipment tracking.
