Notes: | In our constant search for strategies that will enable us to optimize our product offer and our marketing activities, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) Procurement and Merchandising Division is introducing a new type of business opportunity: the mode of acquisition by private agreements for spirits sold as Regular products. This mode of acquisition will complement the call for tenders process, which can hinder the SAQ under certain circumstances in the context of a competitive market and increased demand from our clientele. In light of this, and with a view to increasing our performance, enhancing our ability to take advantage of business opportunities more quickly, and improving our business practices, we are amending the rules for selecting spirits sold as Regular products in certain cases. Within this new framework, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) invites you to submit tenders of spirits for its REGULAR PRODUCTS Catalogue to be sold in its network of outlets. In order to be retained, the products must satisfy the following requirements: Product intended to be launched on a national or international scale Procedural requirements All suppliers will have the opportunity to offer spirits in any time through the Web catalogue, outside the call for tenders process. The tenders must be filled in online. Registration fees will be the same as those that apply to Regular Product Call for tenders, i.e. CA$129.95 and are non-refundable. Suppliers will be contacted only if SAQ is interested in their offers. A product selected through the ‘'private agreements'' process can be the subject of negotiations between the SAQ and the supplier. If an agreement is reached, the product will be particularly subject to the rules of merchandising of the SAQ Procurement and Merchandising Policy applicable to a new regular product. The SAQ reserves the right to not accept any of the received tenders, as well as to cancel this present call for tenders and reject all tenders with no compensation to the submitters and without the SAQ being held liable for any costs or losses incurred by the submitters.
