The Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) invites you to submit spontaneous tenders for «Seasonal products» to be sold in its network of outlets for the 2013 summer campaign.

The SAQ has published online an information capsule on www.saq-b2b.com in regard to the orientations and the application terms for the summer 2013 campaign. 

In order to fulfill the specific needs for the above mentioned category, the SAQ intends to retain approximately NINE (9) products in this search notification within the different types of products (non-exhaustive list):

Still rosés wines

Sparkling rosé wine

Still Quebec rosé wines

Moscato fizzy wine

Summer aperitive

IMPORTANT

Within the framework of this search notification, the SAQ wants to meet the demands of its clients for new and diverse products. The products marketed within the framework of the 2012 summer campaign should not be submitted once more for this operation. The products having obtained the best performance during the 2012 summer campaign will be considered for this process. The SAQ will communicate with the suppliers of the product that were renewed.

There will be no possibility of order renewal for the products of the 2013 summer campaign during the year.

Certain products could be selected to be marketed within the framework of a specific event, for example: event Web (SAQ.COM) or others.

Notes

The products must meet the following criteria:

Availability:

2012 vintage only for still rosés wines

No specific vintage specific requested for sparkling wine and moscato

Minimum availability of 1,000 standard cases (9 litres) for the summer campaign

For Quebec rosé wine only: forecast an estimated volume of 400 cases

Minimum availability of 150 standard cases (9 litres) for a specific event

Format

Container of 750 ml or more (or) multiple packaging for a maximum of 1 litre

Promotional budget

A promotional budget is required to cover displays and promotion fees of 6.25% off the supplier price and must be registered in the section "Budget and others" of the submission form. If the product is selected, this budget will be invoiced directly to the supplier according to the number of cases bought by the SAQ.

Sample (still rosé wine only)

For producers of the southern hemisphere: the vintage of the sample must be 2012

For producers of the northern hemisphere: the vintage of the sample must be 2011

The wrong vintage or the brut de cuve will carry out to the automatic rejection of the offer.

Order

Only one order will be issued at the beginning of January 2013. The suppliers will have 30 days to be prepared the order after the release of the purchase order.

Action plan

If the SAQ determines that certain products have inventory surplus during the campaign and that our sales previsions indicate that the stock will not be sold by August 25^th 2013, the supplier agrees to put forward an action plan to accelerate the liquidation of all stocks. This plan must be effective in the outlets at the latest on August 1^st 2013. Note: This action plan along with its budget must be submitted to the SAQ while final selections of this search of notification through email address sara@saq.qc.ca.

Within the specifications of the "Recognition customer SAQ.COM 2013", the SAQ reserves the right to select 1 product of the aforementioned campaign for the customers of SAQ.COM.

In order to be considered for the SAQ Dépôt banner, the offer will have to include a discount of at least 15% off the supplier price. This discount will result in the participation in the "scale reduction" offered to the customer.

Selection criteria

SAQ will carry out the final selection in order to insure the diversity and the complementarity of the offer.

The offer submitted onto the SAQ Catalogue of offers will be analysed as of August 20^th, 2012.

The code ESTV13 will have to be written in the cell «Sales leaflet»,of the section «Others» of the page «Notoriety» . ATTENTION: only offers with the code ESTV13 will be considered within this search notification.

Kindly note that only the spontaneous offers duly completed and submitted online including a non-refundable payment of CA$ 198.60 by credit card, will be considered.
